MW Balance Changelog [0.78]

In this update you will find a rework of all current air defense systems. The main change is an increase in the range of most air defense systems. Aircraft will be able to stay in the enemy's air defense zone longer, but it will be a bit more difficult to realize potential damage on ships.

General

  • Average fire range of air defense systems increased by ~15-20% - for more effective interception
  • Improved targeting for missile systems - for more effective interception
  • Average projectile detonation radius for machine gun air defense turrets increased by 25% - for more effective interception
  • Average projectile detonation radius for missile air defense turrets increased by 100% - for more effective interception
  • Machine guns / Lasers received ~8% increase in projectile velocity - for more effective interception
  • Almost all air defense systems received a damage debuff of ~13-17% - damage is more than enough to intercept missiles. This measure is necessary to reduce incoming damage to aircraft and increase the life expectancy of aircraft when entering a ship's air defense zone
