Update 0.102 — Future Edge
Major user experience improvements, a rebalance of ships and equipment, and, as always, a large amount of new military hardware!
February may be a short month, but that didn’t stop us from significantly improving many aspects of the game. Welcome one of the most content-packed updates in Modern Warships in recent months.
Expect major user experience improvements, a rebalance of ships and equipment, and, as always, a large amount of new military hardware!
Main Update Highlights
⭐️ Unit Comparison System
A brand-new comparison feature for ships, aircraft, and equipment has been added to the game.
• You can compare up to three units of the same class.
• Items for comparison can be added from most windows: Inventory, Shop, and Market.
• Equipment can only be compared within the same type and tier. Ships of different classes can be compared to each other.
How to use this feature?
- Click the scales icon in any equipment view window.
- After adding at least one item, the comparison icon will appear in the top-right corner. Click it to open the comparison window.
⭐️ Improved Equipment Swapping
You can now swap equipment between ships in just a couple of clicks!
Select the equipment, click the magnifying glass icon, find the ship where it is installed, and press “Swap.” Done!
⭐️ Air Defense for Tankers in “Escort” Mode
• Special AA modules have been added, designed to intercept submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs).
• These AA systems do not engage standard ship missiles or aircraft.
This change improves balance in matches involving SLBM submarines and reduces situations where such units dealt excessive damage without sufficient counterplay.
⭐️ Reconnect Feature & New Matchmaking
• A reconnect mechanic has been added. If the connection is lost, the system will automatically attempt to return the player to battle.
• A dedicated reconnect window will appear during the process.
• Upon successful reconnection, the player returns to the match.
• Up to 3 reconnect attempts are available per match. After all attempts are used, rejoining will no longer be possible.
In March, a separate test of the reconnect mechanic will take place in a temporary “Team Deathmatch” mode powered by the new matchmaking system. Increased rewards will be available. We will announce the launch of this mode on our official Modern Warships social media channels. Stay tuned!
⭐️ Helicopter Physics Fully Reworked
• Improved controls and expanded maneuvering capabilities.
• Helicopter behavior now varies depending on their type and configuration.
⭐️ Updated Notification Marker System
• New notification icons have been added (gifts, timers, new items, etc.).
• Improved logic for displaying notifications in different scenarios.
⭐️ Rebalance
Several ships and pieces of equipment have been rebalanced to improve the performance of long-available units. A detailed article is available in a Separate article

It is followed by CM-400AKG-B3 long-range supersonic cruise missiles, designed to destroy large surface targets. They are supported by Brazilian MAR-1 high-speed anti-ship missiles with area damage, as well as Ra'ad-II anti-ship missiles with extended range and decoy evasion. Should enemy aircraft appear in the air, they can always be met with PL-5EII anti-aircraft missiles, which have rapid target acquisition and reload times, allowing them to exert significant fire pressure on any aerial target.
