Destroyer JS Akizuki (DD-115):

T3, available in the free part of the Battle Pass.

Armament:

  1. Type 07 SUM anti-submarine missiles [2x1]
  2. Type 17SSM ASM [2x1]
  3. Mark-45-Mod 4 (127 mm) gun [1x1]
  4. Type 12 torpedoes [2x1]
  5. M-270A2 MLRS (270 mm) [1x1] (locked)
  6. RAH-66 Comanche helicopter [1x1]
  7. Sea RAM Air Defence [3x1]
  8. RIM-161 BlockIIB VLS AA missile [2x1] (locked)

Features:

The lead ship of the eponymous class of Japanese guided-missile destroyers. Ships of this type are primarily designed to escort and defend aircraft carriers, but can also successfully perform a wide range of operations against surface and underwater threats. In the game, the ship boasts a wide range of armaments. There are 2 open, dual missile slots on board. One slot houses the "Type-07 SUM" anti-submarine missiles, which can be used effectively against submarines. For more effective anti-submarine warfare, the ship has a dual torpedo slot with "Type 12" torpedoes, as well as an exclusive, pre-installed M-270A2 MLRS launcher that fires high-powered ballistic missiles against surface and underwater targets. The other dual missile slot houses the "Type 17 SSM" advanced anti-ship missiles, which will excel both as spam missiles to provoke the release of LTCs and to overwhelm the air defence systems of enemy ships. Traditionally in the bow of the ship is placed naval gun "Mark 45 Mod 4", which can be replaced by other models. The ship's defence is represented by three Sea RAM air defence missile systems, as well as pre-installed RIM-161 Block IIB silo-based anti-aircraft missiles, which in combination will repel most air threats.

P-1 bomber :

T3, available in the VIP Battle Pass.

Armament:

  1. HCM hypersonic missiles
  2. Type 17C ASM
  3. Type 07 anti-submarine missiles

Features:

A maritime multi-role patrol aircraft developed in Japan. Primarily designed to perform a variety of missions, including submarine search and detection. However, in addition to detection tasks, the aircraft can independently deliver painful strikes against targets using a wide range of weaponry. A pair of advanced, hypersonic "HCM" missiles will enable effective fire on surface targets from ultra-long ranges. The missiles quickly catch up with the target due to their high launch and extreme top speeds. As the aircraft gets closer to the target, the advanced "Type 17C" anti-ship missiles will be available for launch against enemy ships. From the aircraft at the push of a button, 4 missiles are launched at once, which significantly increases the chance of overcoming the enemy's air defence systems. By the way, the launch range is also decent and allows the aircraft to strike safely. Finally, in the inner compartment of the aircraft are located 3 anti-submarine missiles "Type 07" air-launched, with which you can make painful, preventive strikes on submarines long before the submarine is in close proximity to allied ships.

F-2 Super Kai strike fighter:

T3, available in the VIP Battle Pass.

Armament:

  1. M61A1 (20mm) air cannon
  2. ASM-3 Super Kai
  3. ASM-1C

Features:

A prospective modification of the Japanese "F-2A" fighter. As part of the upgrade, the aircraft received an updated and modern guidance system, allowing the installation and use of more advanced and high-precision weapons. The installation of conformal fuel tanks in the upper fuselage plane freed up additional weapon mounts. A pair of "ASM-3 Super Kai" supersonic anti-ship missiles, developed from the "ASM-3 Kai" missile with increased damage, flight speed and range, are installed on board the attack aircraft. In addition, the aircraft carries 4 ASM-1C air-launched anti-ship missiles, which significantly increase the effectiveness and density of the fire and, in conjunction with the ASM-3 Super Kai, can easily overwhelm enemy air defences. The aircraft is not left without a course armament - the M61A1 Gatling gun provides the ability to inflict additional damage at close range.

OH-1 Ninja helicopter:

T3, available in the VIP Battle Pass.

Armament:

  1. Ninja Launcher (60mm) grenade launcher
  2. Type 95UR anti-tank missile system
  3. Type 91 anti-aircraft missile system

Features:

A light reconnaissance and attack helicopter designed and built entirely in Japan to replace the morally and technically obsolete American OH-6D helicopters. The helicopter carries an arsenal of weapons configured for a wide range of tasks and firing against any target. For example, there is a Japanese Type 95UR long-range anti-tank system for firing at surface targets. There is also a Type 91 surface-to-air missile system on the helicopter's consoles, which can be used against both surface and air targets. Most interestingly, the helicopter is equipped with an experimental 60mm calibre rotary grenade launcher, whose ammunition can penetrate to great depths and deliver effective fire against submarines.

Type 93 Kin SAM Air Defence:

T3, available in the Premium Battle Pass.

Features:

Maritime version of the land-based surface-to-air missile system, with improved range and targeting compared to similar systems. The system's anti-aircraft missiles immediately reach maximum speed, which is extremely beneficial when intercepting fast-flying air threats.

In the game, this ship is placed on the second row of ships and can be purchased for in-game gold.

  • Type 73

Japanese 324mm calibre light torpedo. Introduced into service in 1974. The torpedo has a good range and top speed. In the game, this weapon is placed on the second dash and can be purchased for in-game gold.

Maps:

We continue to work actively on improving our current game maps, as well as trying to expand the list of maps with new ones. This is the update you are waiting for:

  • For the Team Deathmatch/Squadron Wars/Custom Game modes, we are pleased to introduce the new map, Arid Frontier. Sandstorms, burning windmills and high cliffs to hide behind from enemy aircraft - this is just a small part of what you will find when playing on this map. This map is suitable for both dynamic and contact combat in the wide central strait, where you can successfully launch an aggressive attack or take up defensive positions, and for more tactical and stealthy combat when you choose to flank through the island ridge.
  • We have completely redesigned the Lost City map for the Deathmatch/Squadron Wars/Custom game modes. On the new version of the map you will find 2 massive islands, which not only divide the map into 2 parts, but can also fulfil a functional role as a shelter for aircraft carriers in the first minutes of the battle. In the centre of the map, on numerous small and flat islands, is a flooded city with a number of skyscrapers that can be destroyed. A traditional feature of the map is the tornado, which moves slowly across the map and can cause significant damage to any equipment.
  • In the test format for the Deathmatch/Squadron Wars/Custom game modes, we have slightly reworked the Storm map, which will be available to play alongside the old version of the map. The once solitary drill rigs now consist of an entire complex of buildings for each team. Each complex now consists of 3 platforms of varying size and height, which can still be knocked down to the ground, and when the towers are destroyed they will burn brightly and colourfully. Ship spawns have remained the same general distance from the tower complex in the centre of the location, but are now grouped more closely together. All of these changes will not only give ships a little more protection from a direct enemy hit at the start of a battle, but will also give you more room to fire when playing from cover.
