Chinese engineers have prepared a truly surprising answer to this intriguing question. And it must be said—their solution is nothing short of astonishing!

Historical Background

CN SSA is a unique semi-submersible high-speed trimaran developed by Chinese engineers, blurring the line between three classes of naval vessels: a submarine, a high-speed trimaran, and a fully fledged warship. Its design is built around stealth principles, and when combined with its semi-submersible hull, it becomes an exceptionally difficult target for both radar and sonar detection.

The vessel's primary offensive power comes from its numerous vertical launch systems, allowing it to unleash sudden, devastating missile salvos against enemy targets while remaining in safe or concealed positions. However, the CN SSA is far more than just a stealth strike platform. It is fully equipped for independent operations, carrying advanced anti-torpedo systems to counter hostile submarines, as well as a close-range air defense suite that provides reliable protection against aircraft and incoming missiles whenever the ship surfaces. Gameplay

Let's make one thing clear right away: although the CN SSA is classified as a submarine, it plays much more like a traditional missile warship that can quickly dive beneath the waves whenever necessary. And it's certainly not lacking in firepower—there are no fewer than eight missile battery slots in total! With the right loadout, you'll be able to unleash a true storm of missiles upon your enemies.

Special attention should be paid to the exclusive YJ-20 TBM SSA missile. Besides its impressive performance, it can lock onto enemies hidden behind cover—even without direct line of sight. This tactical ballistic missile allows you to take full advantage of the terrain. However, be careful: it doesn't fly into the stratosphere, so particularly tall obstacles can intercept and destroy both your cunning attack and the missile itself.

And yes—we mentioned torpedoes at the beginning! The vessel is equipped with the SSA ATT autocannon. Don't let the name fool you: this system automatically detects and destroys incoming enemy torpedoes. In practice, it's an automatic anti-torpedo defense system!

So what's the best way to play this submarine? Charging straight into the front lines is a poor choice. At close range, your missiles won't have enough time to reach top speed, making them easy targets for enemy air defenses. The optimal strategy is to control the edges of the map, where you'll have excellent visibility and can launch effective missile strikes both on the surface and while submerged.

Don't worry too much about return fire. Thanks to its advanced anti-torpedo and air defense systems, the CN SSA can withstand heavy pressure with confidence. If incoming attacks become overwhelming, dive beneath the surface, deploy flares, or activate your anti-torpedo countermeasures, while the SSA ATT autocannon automatically neutralizes any remaining torpedo threats.
