Update 0.107: Virtual Worlds

August brings Modern Warships into the digital age! Expect a major rework of the upgrade system, an expanded inventory, protection against network manipulation, and a stylish selection of equipment and customization items.

Main Update Features

⭐️ RNG-Free Upgrades: Guaranteed Improvements!

We have completely removed the probability-based system from module upgrades. Stat upgrades are now 100% transparent and guaranteed — each stage has a clear fixed cost.

Changes to the Stealth Parameter

The Stealth parameter can no longer be upgraded. Enemy ships and aircraft with this parameter will appear on the minimap as neutral circles when they are outside your view range.

To identify which enemy is hidden behind the circle and which direction they are facing, you will need to detect the target again by moving close enough for it to enter your view range.

⭐️ Protection Against Ping Abuse

An end to ping abuse! We want battles to be decided by tactics and skill, not by artificial connection delays.

Previously, when ping spiked abnormally, damage dealt could be applied with a delay, creating an unfair advantage. Starting from version 0.107, such damage is no longer counted: the loophole has been closed.

⭐️ Target Lock Through Obstacles

The update introduces a new experimental mechanic for missile weapons:

  • One of the missile batteries scheduled for release in this version can lock on to detected targets outside direct line of sight — for example, targets hidden behind islands or terrain.
  • The lock-on is maintained as long as the target is detected by your radar or that of your allies.
  • A successful launch still depends on position and trajectory: the missile does not automatically bypass obstacles and may strike terrain during flight.
  • We plan to test this mechanic on a separate unit as an experiment and will closely monitor your feedback.

Battle Pass: “Virtual Worlds”

  • The new Battle Pass season is available from August 1 through August 31. It features 40 stages, each granting access to valuable resources, Upgrade Points, Gold, and exclusive cosmetic content.
  • Complete Battle Pass stages, earn the seasonal currency — Battle Pass Credits — and exchange them in the special Battle Pass Shop for the equipment or vehicles you want.

Vault Pass

In this update, the Pass Vault has been expanded with another season, “Operation North Star”, released in December 2025. Inside the pass, you can find valuable VIP rewards, customization items, and the ROKS Jang Yeong-sil submarine.

An advanced diesel-electric submarine with a lithium-ion power plant that provides extended underwater endurance and high speed without the need to surface. This makes the vessel quieter and less vulnerable to detection. The submarine is equipped with 10 larger vertical launchers, capable of firing cruise or ballistic missiles.
