Security Code in Modern Warships

In update 0.83, Modern Warships introduced a new security measure — the security code. This is a special combination of numbers that protects your account from unauthorized operations.

📌 What is the security code for?

The security code is an additional layer of protection against account theft and unauthorized use of your in-game resources. It prevents hackers from selling your equipment or spending your currency without your consent. The security code is required in two cases:

• When performing transactions on the market.
• When selling equipment in the in-game store.
  

By default, the security code is not set, but you can enable it in the settings.

🔹 How to set up a security code

1. Go to Settings → Account.
2. Click the green "Enable" button next to the red "Security Code" button.
3. Create a 6-digit code and enter it.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address linked to your account, notifying you that the security code has been set.

📱 How does the security protection work?

Once set up, the security code is linked to your device. On this device, you won’t need to enter it again for 30 days. However, if you attempt a transaction from a new device, you will be required to enter the security code to confirm the action.

🚨 What happens if you enter the wrong code?

• You have three attempts to enter the code correctly.
• If you enter the wrong code three times, the input will be blocked for 24 hours.
• During this period, market transactions and equipment sales will be unavailable.
  

❓ What to do if you forget the security code?

• Check your email — when setting up the security code, it was sent to you in a message from Artstorm.
• Click "Forgot Code?" on the code entry screen. A new security code will be generated and sent to your email.
• If you can’t find the email, contact support — they will assist you in restoring access.
