Report System in Modern Warships: What Is It?

We introduced this system with the version 0.85 update and want to provide more details about its features, as we’ve noticed that not all players are actively using it.

The report system allows players to report violations directly during matches or after they’ve ended. This means you can quickly report inappropriate behavior by other players, whether it’s cheating, griefing (harming your own team), inappropriate chat behavior, or an offensive nickname.

How to Submit a Report?

• During the match: Click on a player’s nickname in the team list and select the "Report" option.
• After the match: You can do this from the post-match statistics window by clicking on the offender’s nickname.

*Restrictions: Each player can submit only one report per match and no more than five reports per day.

You can select one of the following reasons for reporting a player:

• Inappropriate chat behavior
• Offensive nickname
• Cheating
• Griefing (harming your own team)
• Incompetence

You can also leave a comment in a dedicated field to help us better understand the nature of the violation. Every report is reviewed manually by our team to ensure fair decisions.

How Are Reports Processed?

Your reports are logged in a special system — the Ban Panel. For each category of violation (e.g., inappropriate behavior, cheating), lists are created and sorted by the number of reports received for a specific player. This allows moderators to quickly address the most critical cases.

For reports on chat behavior and nicknames, additional logs are saved to give moderators the full context of the violation.

Notifications About Results

We understand how important it is to know that your report has been acknowledged. That’s why, after your report is reviewed by moderators, you’ll receive an in-game notification informing you that your report has been processed.

Enhanced Profanity Filter

Alongside the report system, we’ve updated the profanity filter to effectively block inappropriate words in chats, nicknames, and clan names. You can now enable or disable this filter in the game settings.
